Resident – Student Mentorship

The UAMS Resident-Student Mentorship program is designed to support and guide medical students in their journey to becoming well-rounded, compassionate physicians. This program is specifically geared toward students interested in family medicine. Interested students and current residents will be paired based on common interests to create a personalized, dynamic mentorship. Residents will help empower and equip students with the necessary skills, invaluable firsthand expertise, and professional mindset for preparing for the next steps in their medical career. The mentorship program duration will span the entirety of the academic year.
