Adjunct Appointment Process

We are grateful for your interest in helping to educate future generations of family physicians in Arkansas. Your willingness to precept residents and students training or rotating at one of UAMS’s many highly regarded Family Medicine residency programs represents a critical commitment to first-rate primary care in the Natural State. Thank you for partnering with us in this endeavor!

Family physicians are busy people, and we want to make the process of applying for a non-paid adjunct appointment as quick and as seamless as possible. Only two things are required at this stage of the process:

  • A completed Faculty Information Form and
  • A current resume/CV. You will be prompted to upload your resume/CV while completing the Faculty Information Form, so you should update your resume/CV before beginning to fill out the Faculty Information Form.

If you need a resume/CV template, you can locate a useful one on the website of the Association of American Medical Colleges, or you can select another template that meets your needs.

Once a completed Faculty Information Form and a current resume/CV have been received, your non-paid adjunct appointment request will be reviewed, and Regional Campuses administrative staff will contact you.
