- Please reach out to your mentees within the week of being notified of your match.
- You are agreeing to regularly communicate with your student mentees, roughly once every couple of months for a full academic year – dictated by UAMS COM calendar.
- Communication may be via phone, zoom, email, or in-person.
- This does not obligate you to meet a quota for communications, we just want the mentees to have dependable mentors.
- Since you’ll be very busy during residency, feel free to let mentees know they may reach out to you.
- We will be setting up a Remind notification system to keep you in the loop and send out (spoiler) reminders. It won’t be like Groupme where you will get bogged down by replies. Notifications will only be from us, so please don’t silence/mute!
- You are welcome to continue mentoring s/p residency if you so choose.
