The Julie Dobbins/Melville Library was established in September 1973. Julie Dobbins was Director of Library Services from 1973 until her passing in 2016. The Library was previously known as Melville Library but was changed to Julie Dobbins/Melville Library in 2017. In 2018, the Library was totally digitalized. There are very few print materials housed in the library. Materials such as books, journals, etc. are available digitally to students, faculty and staff through the UAMS Library.
Orientation for Family Medicine Residents includes guidance as warranted to find information through various avenues and resources. Family Medicine Residents, faculty and student learners have access to the Library at any time as needed.
