I chose Family Medicine because it allows me to care for the whole patient while building meaningful, long-term relationships through continuity of care. I enjoy the breadth of the specialty and the opportunity to manage a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions across all stages of life. What drew me most to Family Medicine is the ability to follow patients over time, develop trust, and make a lasting impact on their health and well-being. The combination of comprehensive care, continuity, and patient-centered medicine makes Family Medicine the perfect fit for me. I chose Pine Bluff because its patient population and healthcare needs closely align with the communities I grew up and worked in throughout New York City. Growing up in underserved areas, I saw firsthand how socioeconomic factors can affect access to healthcare and health outcomes. Those experiences shaped my desire to serve communities with significant healthcare needs. I was drawn to Pine Bluff because it offers the opportunity to care for a diverse and often underserved patient population while receiving broad, hands-on training in Family Medicine. I believe the experience will help me grow into a well-rounded physician while allowing me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of my patients.
My clinical interests include full-spectrum Family Medicine, particularly inpatient medicine, outpatient primary care, and emergency medicine. I also have a strong interest in quality improvement, patient safety, and healthcare systems, which was reinforced through my Master's in Healthcare Systems Administration and my work in quality-focused initiatives. As the child of immigrants who often faced barriers to accessing care, I am especially passionate about promoting health equity and improving health literacy. I hope to combine my clinical practice with efforts to make healthcare more accessible, understandable, and effective for underserved populations while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
I enjoy hockey, comic books, horology, rock & roll and spending time with family and friends.

The Pine Bluff community has a long 40+ year history of supporting trainee Doctors through the AHEC program, the patients have a good & understanding relationship with us. Additionally this community is underserved and deserves front line doctors to uplift the health of the people. My clinical interests include Primary care, Emergency Med, Addiction Medicine, Toxicology.
I enjoy playing soccer, watch collecting, travel and running.

Family Medicine is a field that has no boundaries and provided continuity of care, which are the two most appealing things for me. I came and visited Pine Bluff, had the chance to talk to the program director Dr. Middleton, had the chance to attend table round and saw Dr. Wright teach which made me decide right then and there that i want to become a resident here. I ranked this program top on my list and am glad I did. I have not decided which route i will go, a traditional hybrid of clinic and hospitalist work interest me the most.
Watching soccer and spending time with family are my favorite things to do.

I chose the Pine Bluff community because I wanted to train in a place where I could truly make a difference. Serving an underserved population is both humbling and rewarding, and I look forward to learning from this community while building meaningful relationships and improving access to care.

I chose Pine bluff because this is a community where my medical knowledge will be appreciated. This community will provide me with the training needed. My clinical interests include Procedural outpatient interventions.

These programs have strengthened my skills in patient-centered care, leadership, teamwork, communication, and the integration of behavioral health into primary care practice.

I chose Family Medicine because it allows me to care for patients across all stages of life while building meaningful, long-term relationships with them. I chose this community because of the connection I developed while working as an Assistant Physician at Stephens in Arkansas. During that time, I had the opportunity to care for local patients and gained a deeper appreciation for the community and its healthcare needs. I value the welcoming atmosphere and the strong relationships between patients and providers, and I am excited to continue serving and learning from this community during my residency. My clinical interests are centered on preventive care, patient education, women's health, and caring for underserved populations. These interests come from my journey as a general practitioner in Cameroon and my clinical experience in the United States, where I saw firsthand how much difference early prevention, clear communication, and consistent follow-up can make in patients’ lives.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, participating in church and community activities, mentoring children and youth, and pursuing personal and spiritual growth. I also enjoy learning about different cultures and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds.
