Andrew Bryson, MD

Medical School - UAMS

My name is Drew Bryson and I was born and raised here in Jonesboro, AR. I graduated from Nettleton High School in 2011 and then packed my bags to head to the hill to continue my education. I spent five years at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where I earned a BS in Biomedical Engineering and a BA in Biology. Upon finishing my undergraduate career I worked that summer training duck dogs before starting medical school at UAMS in Little Rock. During med school, I quickly confirmed that I wanted to pursue a career in family medicine. With my desire to work in rural underserved areas, I decided there was no place like home to complete my residency. Luckily, I was accepted to continue my training at the place that I will always call home. Outside of medicine, I enjoy duck hunting, going to the gym, and consider myself a connoisseur of domestic light beer.
