The Course

phlebbrochureThe Phlebotomy course is a 13-week course offered in the Fall & Spring semesters to prepare students to enter as a professional in the healthcare field. The curriculum for this course will contain a combination of lectures, labs, and clinical internships.


Participants successfully completing this Continuing Education Course in Phlebotomy will be awarded a certificate of completion. Completion of this course also establishes eligibility to apply to take the national registry examination in Phlebotomy given by the ASCP and become registered as a phlebotomist (PBT(ASCP)). Successful completion of this course does not itself insure registration. See for more information.

Applicant Requirements

To be eligible for the continuing education course in phlebotomy applicants must submit a copy of  high school diploma (or equivalent) upon applying for course.
