HBCU Med Track programs

The HBCU Med Track Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is a collaboration between Philander Smith College and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. This program serves to support URM (Underrepresented Minority) students working towards careers in healthcare. Several sub-programs within the UAMS HBCU Med Track umbrella includes the S.U.P.E.R. (Serving Underrepresented Populations through Engagement and Research) Project, Anesthesia Tech Pipeline Program, Health Science Center Project, Expanding the H.U.E. (Helping the Underrepresented Excel) Project, and I³ (Inform Inspire Impact) Podcast. Through the listed coacting programs, UAMS HBCU Med Track strives to provide resources and opportunities to URM students interested in fields within healthcare.
