The UAMS Regional Centers sponsoring institution is based in Fayetteville, Arkansas and supports residency and fellowship programs located in community hospitals around the state. The UAMS Regional Centers serve the custom educational and research needs of community-based residency and fellowship programs and understand the importance of building clinical and educational partnerships with community hospitals. We are committed to academic excellence as a UAMS sponsoring institution that partners with community hospitals to prepare physicians to independently practice and deliver innovative, high-quality patient-centered care in a safe and supportive academic environment.
The UAMS Regional Centers demonstrate our mission to improve the health and well-being of Arkansans through education, research, and providing rural clinical teaching sites. The foundation and alliance between our UAMS graduate medical education programs and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) ensures ongoing program compliance and accreditation.
